About the Ring Battery Video Doorbell
The Ring Battery Video Doorbell installs without existing doorbell wiring, making it a practical choice for renters and homes without a wired doorbell. It sends alerts to your phone when someone presses the button or motion is detected, and Live View lets you see and speak with visitors from anywhere using two-way talk.
Its Head-to-Toe video view shows people from head to feet, and packages left on the ground. The battery recharges with the included cable, or the doorbell can connect to existing doorbell wiring for trickle charging. Saving and reviewing video history, and smart alerts such as person detection, require a Ring subscription, sold separately. It works with Alexa for announcements and Live View on Echo Show devices.
