Last updated October 24, 2026Sunbolt Electronics & Mobile LLC · Phoenix, Arizona

This privacy policy explains how Sunbolt Electronics & Mobile LLC (“Sunbolt”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our website, shop with us online or visit our stores in Phoenix, Arizona. It also explains the choices and rights available to you.

Demo notice: this website is a demonstration store powered by SmartPOS Hub. Orders placed on it are not fulfilled and no payment is taken. The practices described below reflect how the store and its point-of-sale system are designed to handle information.

Who is responsible for your information?

Sunbolt Electronics & Mobile LLC, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our online store and our two stores, Sunbolt Camelback and Sunbolt Desert Ridge, share one point-of-sale (POS) system, so your online and in-store purchases are handled in the same place.

To contact us about privacy, use our contact page and choose the privacy topic, or call (480) 555-0192.

What information do we collect?

We collect information you give us, information created when you shop with us, and limited information about how you use our website. We collect only what we need to sell, deliver, support and improve our products and services.

Information you give us

  • Name, email address, phone number and delivery or billing address.
  • Account details if you create an account, such as your password (stored in hashed form).
  • Messages you send through the contact page, and details you give for repair intake, trade-in appraisal or service bookings.

Order and transaction information

  • Products ordered, prices, pickup store or delivery address, order status and returns.
  • Payment information is processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and limited card details, such as card type and last four digits, but do not store full card numbers.
  • Warranty, SunCare plan and service records linked to your purchases.

Website activity information

  • With your consent, a first-party visitor ID stored in the sp_vid cookie, plus the pages and products you view, searches you make and items you add to your cart.
  • Technical data your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type and device type, used for security and to keep the site working.

In-store information

  • Purchases made at the counter and linked to your account or phone number if you choose.
  • Devices brought in for repair intake or trade-in, which may contain your data. We ask you to back up and remove personal data first.

How do we use your information?

We use your information to process and deliver orders, provide pickup, delivery, repairs and warranty support, manage your account, answer questions, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations and improve our website and range. We use website activity data only after you consent.

  • Fulfilling orders: confirming orders, preparing pickup, arranging delivery and processing returns and refunds.
  • Service and support: warranty and SunCare claims, repair intake, trade-in appraisals, setup services and installs.
  • Communication: order updates, pickup notifications and replies to your messages. Marketing messages only if you opt in, with an unsubscribe link in each.
  • Improving the store: understanding which products and pages are useful, using the sp_vid visitor ID after consent.
  • Security and legal compliance: preventing fraud, keeping records required for tax and accounting, and responding to lawful requests.

How does the website activity beacon work?

Our website includes a small first-party script, called a beacon, that records page and product views so we can see what customers look at. It runs only after you consent. It stores a random visitor ID in the sp_vid cookie for up to one year and sends activity to our own POS system, not to advertising networks.

If you decline or withdraw consent, the beacon does not set the cookie or send activity data. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. See our cookie policy for every cookie we use.

Who do we share information with?

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the store, under contracts that limit their use of it, and where the law requires. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Service providers include:

  • Our point-of-sale and e-commerce platform provider, which hosts our store and order system.
  • Payment processors.
  • Delivery and shipping carriers.
  • Website hosting and security providers.
  • Manufacturers and repair partners, when needed for a warranty claim or repair you request.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer such as a sale or merger, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Order and transaction records are kept as long as tax, accounting and warranty obligations require. Website activity data is kept for a limited period, then deleted or aggregated so it no longer identifies you. Account information is kept until you close your account.

What privacy rights do you have?

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We extend these rights to all customers, regardless of state, and will not treat you differently for using them.

These rights are modeled on the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and similar state laws:

  • Right to know and access: what we collect, why, and who we share it with, and a copy of your information.
  • Right to correct: fix inaccurate information.
  • Right to delete: ask us to delete information, subject to legal exceptions such as tax records.
  • Right to opt out: of sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not do either, but you can still record your preference.
  • Right to limit: use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive information for purposes that require this.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny service or charge different prices because you used your rights.

To make a request, use our contact page. We verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming details linked to your orders, and respond within the time the law requires. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.

How do we protect your information?

We protect information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls that limit staff access to what their role needs, hashed passwords and secure payment processing through our payment provider. No system is perfectly secure, so we also monitor for misuse and will notify you if a breach affects your information, as Arizona law requires.

Children’s privacy

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. For significant changes, we will post a notice on the website.
