Accessibility Statement

Sunbolt aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on its website. Read about our accessibility features, known limitations and how to report a barrier.

Last updated October 24, 2026Sunbolt Electronics & Mobile LLC · Phoenix, Arizona

Sunbolt Electronics & Mobile wants everyone to be able to browse, compare and buy on our website, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility issues as bugs to fix rather than features to add later.

What is our accessibility goal?

Our goal is WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across the website. WCAG is the internationally recognized standard for accessible web content, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Level AA covers the needs of most people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

What accessibility features does the website include?

The website is built with accessibility in mind from the start:

  • Semantic structure: one main heading per page and headings in logical order, so screen readers can jump between sections.
  • Keyboard navigation: menus, filters, the cart and checkout can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators.
  • Text alternatives: product and guide images have descriptive alternative text.
  • Labeled forms: every form field has a visible label and clear error messages.
  • Color and contrast: text and controls are designed to meet AA contrast ratios, and information is not shown by color alone.
  • Resizable text: pages work when zoomed to 200% and reflow on small screens.
  • Reduced motion: animations respect your device’s reduced-motion setting.

What does the accessibility widget do?

The accessibility widget, available from the button on each page, lets you adjust the display to suit you: larger text, higher contrast, extra spacing, a readable font and pausing animations. Your settings are saved on your device. The widget is an extra convenience; we aim for the site itself to be accessible without it.

What are the known limitations?

We know some areas still need work, and we would rather say so:

  • Third-party content, such as embedded maps or manufacturer documents, may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA. We provide store addresses and directions as text alongside maps.
  • Product images supplied by manufacturers may contain text that is not repeated elsewhere on the page. Key specifications are listed as text in product details.
  • PDF documents, such as some manufacturer manuals, may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will help with the information you need.
  • The compare tool displays many columns of data; on small screens, the table scrolls horizontally, which some users find harder to navigate.

We review these areas regularly and update this statement as we fix them.

How can you report an accessibility barrier?

Tell us through our contact page, choosing the accessibility topic, or call (480) 555-0192 during store hours. Include the page address, what you were trying to do and the device, browser or assistive technology you used. We aim to respond within a few business days and will tell you what we are doing to fix it.

If you need information from the website in another format, or help completing an order, we will provide it.

Can I get help shopping another way?

Yes. Both stores can help by phone during opening hours (shown live on our store pages):

The team can check stock, explain products, place an order with you and arrange same-day pickup. In store, we are happy to set up your new device with you at the counter, including accessibility settings such as larger text, voice control and hearing aid pairing.

How do we test accessibility?

We test with automated checkers during development, check pages with keyboard-only navigation and a screen reader, and review color contrast in both light and dark display modes. Customer feedback is one of our most useful sources, so please tell us about anything that gets in your way.

FAQ

Accessibility Statement: quick answers

What accessibility standard does the Sunbolt website follow?

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We design and test pages against these guidelines, and we fix issues as we find them or as customers report them.

What does the accessibility widget do?

The accessibility widget lets you adjust how the website looks for you, such as text size, contrast and spacing, and pause animations. Your settings stay on your device. It is an extra convenience, not a replacement for an accessible site.

Can I shop the website with a screen reader?

Yes. We build pages with semantic headings, labeled form fields and descriptive image text so screen readers can follow them. If you meet a part of the site that does not work with your screen reader, please tell us so we can fix it.

How do I report an accessibility problem?

Use our contact page and choose the accessibility topic, or call (480) 555-0192. Tell us the page address, what you were trying to do and the device or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within a few business days.

Can I get help ordering if the website is hard to use?

Yes. Call either store during opening hours and the team can check stock, answer questions and help you place an order or arrange pickup. Camelback is (602) 555-0148 and Desert Ridge is (480) 555-0192.

Can the stores help if I need assistance in person?

Yes. If you need help in store, such as a seat, a quieter time to visit, help reading small print or help carrying items to your car, let the team know or call ahead. We will do our best to make the visit easy.
