About the Switch 2 Pro Controller
The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is a full-size controller for longer play sessions on the TV or in tabletop mode. It adds two assignable rear buttons, GL and GR, that can be mapped to other buttons for faster input, and a C button that opens GameChat on Switch 2.
A 3.5 mm audio jack lets you plug in a wired headset for game audio and chat. It includes HD Rumble 2, motion controls and an NFC reader for amiibo. The built-in battery charges over USB-C and is rated by Nintendo at roughly 40 hours of play per charge. The controller also works with the original Nintendo Switch, though Switch 2-specific features are not available there.
